Uterine Cancer: Surgery, Chemo Messed Her Up?

hi chris,
My name is k from Jakarta. My mom diagnosed for corpus uteri cancer stage  4 mets to lungs and 1 lymp nodes in pelvic early february. everything else still clear but tumor was 19 x17
She was scheduled for 6 chemo, 3 before surgery and 3 after.  after 3rd chemo tumor shrink to 19 x13 and lung mets size reduced.

After surgery her condition went downhill, as on the 4th chemo her right hand and leg weakened but doctor said it was cipn..2weeks later it got worst, they did mri and discovered several mets to brain. And condition weakened because swelling in brain. After surgery she suffered abdominal pain and difficulties passing stool. And often burping.

I’m thinking of doing gamma knife from brain mets, and the doctor said it is possible. However as it was her schedule to do chemo, she went to chemo first (5th chemo) .3days later she suffered severe sepsis. Right now she’s still on recovery and progressing well. But today she still having abdominal pain, hard passing gas and burping bitter taste.

I dont know, but i think the doctors messed her up in surgery. Just wondering, what do you think about gamma knife? As the brain mets depressed her. Also she still has residual tumor in pelvic that causing her hard to sit. I am so devastated with pessimistic doctors around her.

I’m thinking of bringing her to mount miriam or nci cancer hospital, but looking from her condition it seems hard as she just had sepsis, very weak right hand and leg also the abdominal pain usually making her head sweating while the body gets cold.

She is 53 years old. Do you have any suggestion for me? If you think you have something worth trying, i will fly to meet you on friday. Thanks

Reply: I don’t think anybody can do anything for her …too messed up. No, modern medicine makes things worse.

Cervical Cancer from Singapore. Radiation and chemo failed – cancer spread to her lung

Hi Dr Chris,

I am being referred by Betty Khoo and Berlin from Singapore. They have attended your talk in KL recently.

I am diagnosed with Mucinous Ca Cervical last year April 2012. After surgery I was give 25 session of radiotherapy and 3 sessions of internal radiations.

Thereafter I am free of cancer till this year Feb 2013, they found 4 spots in my lungs. After lung endoscopy, they found out that the cancer cell in lungs is the same kind as the cervical. Docs recommended more chemo. I have started 2 cycle of chemo and my platelets drop till very low. I was given oral chemo + infusion chemo. After 2 cycle of chemo, they send me for CT Scan on the Chest, abdomen and Pelvis. To my surprise, docs told me that an external llilac nodal mass measuring abt 35 X 28mm trapping on the left ureter and causing a moderate degree of hydronephrosis.

Doctor told me that the western medication seems not effective for my kind of cancer and due to low platelets counts (could be due to my radiation),  they may not be able to carry on with the treatment.

May i seek your kind advise for my condition. Attached my recent CT scan report and blood test for your reference. Awaiting your kind reply.

Regards. SP, Singapore.

Reply: Come and see me in Penang with all your medical reports and scans.

Extensive Colon-Liver Cancer: Do Eight Chemos – Only Three Months to Live

Dear Dr Chris,

I came to know you several years ago when you were on TV2 Forum talking about cancer… I quickly wrote down your no and kept it. I have also refer many of my clients – cancer patients to you.

Attached please see my uncle CT Scan report. He was normal and cheerful till April 2013 when the xxx Oncologist xxx asked him go xxx to do the CT Scan.

He now asked my uncle aged 79 to do 8 chemo!! We advised him not to, as he still can work, walk eat… We were annoyed as the Dr told him he has 3 to 4 months to live only!  Coz my  uncle asked him.  Of course he and his wife were extremely sad.  Now from a happy person, he has lost hope, suddenly feel so down, depress, no more smile on his face and he is getting weaker and weaker, as he has lost his appetite to eat.

I consulted a Dr in PJ, after seeing this report he said:

Eat more meat!  Lean red meats, fish, chicken etc… DO NOT GO VEGETARIAN.  He needs protein to stay strong and fight.  Don’t simply make your own conclusion that vegetarian is good. It can become very dangerous for cancer patients.  Body can shut down faster.  Eat more and eat well.  Balance meals, lots of water, fresh foods, fresh beef, lamb, pork, fresh veggies.

Food that he enjoy – keep him satisfied and positive.  Very little that you can do, but can make sure he lives a quality life, prolonged life, keep the body stronger for longer and last longer. Back to good nutrition, PROTEIN NUMBER ONE, good fats etc…

Highly appreciate if you could advice how can you help my uncle?  He stays in Negeri Sembilan.  He is a very kind, humble, lovable, generous, sociable and merciful person, we are extremely sad why he suffer such illness!!

I also forward his report for a doctor relative Dr K for adv.

Please help and appreciate your advice asap.

Thank you very much Dr Chris and may the good Lord Jesus bless you and all of us.

Warm regards, EL.

Reply:  Aya, what is so difficult — just bring him to come and see me. Bring all the scans and reports. And did he do the chemo?

Can he read? or listen or watch videos?   Go to my website…www.cancercaremalaysia.com  and click on the video presentation that I gave in KL on 11 May 2013.

http://cancercaremalaysia.com/2013/05/15/video-presentation-talk-by-chris-teo-11-may-2013-kuala-lumpur/

Let him watch them.

In the video of my talk — same story — the doctors said: No surgery, no chemo you have only 3 months Now she is 3 years and still alive. Listen to that. http://cancercaremalaysia.com/2013/05/15/video-presentation-talk-by-chris-teo-11-may-2013-kuala-lumpur/

Then if he can read, get this book—Cancer What Now?

What is so difficult — the difficulty is people don’t believe or don’t what to help themselves —That I cannot help.

Take care, Chris

Thank you very much for your quick reply. No, they do not want him do chemo.  Just let him live the normal live till the end?  I asked his sons to watch and show the videos to his dad.  He only understands Chinese. A shopkeeper of a hardware shop, selling all kinds of pesticides, chemicals, cements, fertilizers, paints etc for more than 80 yrs. He do not want to travel to Penang, too far.

Breast Cancer – She Needs Help

25 May 2013  Dear Kind Dr.Chris Teo,

I hope you are doing fine Doctor. My name is S. I found your website less than 2 weeks ago and I’m your YouTube Viewer as well.

Doctor, I am heartbroken because my mom is having breast cancer. Two weeks ago my mom had wide excision (lumpectomy) and three days later, her General Surgeon gave us this result:

DIAGNOSIS:
INFILTRATING DUCTAL CARCINOMA OF LEFT BREAST (TUMOUR SIZE 3.0 CM IN LARGEST DIMENSION. HISTOLOGICALLY GRADE 2)
MARGINS OF EXCISION ARE FREE OF TUMOUR. CLOSEST DEEP MARGIN OF EXCISION IS ABOUT 3.0 MM AWAY FROM THE TUMOUR.
NO LYMPHATIC TUMOUR EMBOLI AREE SEEN.

FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION FOR CYTOLOGY (FNACI)
SPECIMEN FOR CYTOLOGY EXAMINATION
LEFT BREAST LUMP

MICROSCOPY AND INTERPRETATION
SCANTY SMEAR SHOWS LOOSE AGGREGATES AND SINGLY DISPERSED MALIGNANT DUCTAL CELLS IN A BACKGROUND OF BLOOD DISPLAYING ENLARGE HYPERCHROMATIC PLEOMORPHIC NUCLEI.

INTERPRETATION:
MALIGNANT CYTOLOGY COMPATIBLE WITH DUCTAL CARCINOMA

As advised by the General Surgeon, my mother is going to have axillary lymph node dissection next week on Wednesday to find out the stage and to see if the cancer has spread.

Doctor, what do you think of Dendritic Cell Therapy to replace radiation therapy? Will this therapy kill all the cancer cells? Is it better or as good as radiation therapy?

We would really love to see you for consultation Doctor, when will be the best time for us to start consulting with you? I mean right after my mom recover from her axillary lymph node dissection or  before she starts radiation therapy? Thank you very much for your time to read and reply this email Doctor Chris. We really appreciate it and looking forward to hear from you and see you in person.
May God bless you and your wife for helping people who are in need.
Sincerely, S
Reply:  Where are you from? Come and see me with all the reports …and go to my website www.cancercacermalaysia.com and read the book Cancer What Now before you start to do anything. I dont think you need to do the axillary clearance either. Come and see me first. Chris.

26 May 2013  Dear Dr. Chris Teo,

I am so happy to have received reply from you. I am from Kuala Lumpur.

Doctor, I am so nervous, because this coming Wednesday is my mother’s axillary lymph nodes surgery to see whether the cancer has spread or not even though her margins are clear as it is written on the report and to determine her cancer stage as well. I really don’t know what I should do to cancel the surgery, I mean if I tell my mother that Dr. Chris Teo replied me and said that the surgery is not needed, she will be so nervous because we r planning to see you, we just don’t know when, that was why I emailed you Doctor.

Doctor please kindly advise us, I mean may I know why you don’t think axillary lymph nodes surgery is needed? Thank you so very much for your time to read and reply us who are in despair.

God bless you Doctor Teo. S.

26 May 2013

GOD BLESS YOU DR.CHRIS TEO,

DOCTOR YOU SHOULD SEE MY FACE WHEN I RECEIVED PROMPT REPLY FROM YOU….U DONT KNOW HOW I APPRECIATE YOUR KINDNESS DOCTOR!

I am very close to my mother. My father has passed away 13 years ago. I am her first and only daughter. I have one younger brother and he is a very sensitive person, so he actually didn’t know that my mom has breast cancer. We only told him that the lump is still being investigated.

To have found your website is a blessing to us and now to have gotten response and explanations from you, we are more blessed. We really don’t know who to run to and then we found you Dr. Chris.

Once my mother recovers from Axillary lymph nodes dissection and able to travel, we surely want to fly to Penang to see you, being healed and enlightened by you.

Dr. Chris thank you so very much for making time to reply a heartbroken daughter such as me. Looking forward to see you in person Doctor. God bless always,

Reply: Removing the lymph node is NOT a cure. It is just to tell you what stage it is. Okay, go and do it if you want to do chemo or radiation after that. If you don’t want to do all these, no use to remove the lymph node.

26 May 2013 Dear Doctor Chris Teo,

Suddenly I feel like there is a light at the end of a tunnel……after I  ”heard” from you.  Doctor Chris……I’m in tears as I am typing this……I feel like I am not alone anymore. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart …..I will call Puan Khadijah next week. Such a blessed Sunday after a long roller coaster ride, sleepless nights and in tears for weeks…… Dr. Chris, they don’t make Doctors like you anymore nowadays…..  Hopeful daughter, S.

Liver Cancer: Cut, Chemo and Cut Again. Then Now Want to Cut Some More – No cure!

Hi doctor,

I am MS, from Manado, Indonesia, and I heard about you from my friend. My father got liver cancer, accidentally found in July 2011, before he had an open heart surgery in Penang. Early of November, doctor cut out the tumour, 60% of the liver was cut out, and we did regular check up every three month. Until 6 months, it was clear and nine months after that, two cancer cells was found, and doctor suggest to do the ablation method.

In July 2012, doctor also did the RFA, because some cancer cells were found. And in December 2012, doctor found that there were cancer cells again, and he suggested a second operation. So, in January we came to do the operation, and doctor also checked if the cancer was spreading out, but not found any.

Last March we came to do the USG, and it was clear. And recently, we did the CT Scan in 26 April 2031, and found that it was already spread out to his left iliac bone, and left adrenal.

Doctor suggested to cut the adrenal, and after that do the oral chemo, but we told we will think about it first. And we had plan to go a Health Care centre, the place that practises healthy life style by diet and exercise.

On Tuesday, one of my friends told me about you, and we interested. We are still in Penang now.

How can I reach you? What time can we meet you today? Thank you for your attention.

Regards,
L
