Nose Cancer from KL. No need to panic!

Hello Chris,

Can we please make an appointment to meet up with you urgently. My brother, aged 49 years, has just been diagnosed with Nasal Pharyngeal Cancer, stage 3, Type 2. We had the oncologist consultation today, and have been advised that he needs 7 weeks of radio therapy ( 35 treatments to zapping the tumour) coupled with 3 small chemo dosages all costing him an approximate $35,000 ball-park figure. My brother is unemployed. We are helping him to raise the hefty amount of monies.

The set back is that he will not be able to start treatment until the 2nd week of September due to the Hari Raya public holidays. I have been praying so hard and asking the Lord to please lead us to the right “Doctor” who can help him. Today after our fellowship, I saw the word “Cancer” nailed to the cross of Jesus! I believe that the Lord will heal my brother and he will have a testimony of Jesus on his lips.

Your e-mail was just forwarded to me from my brother who is not a Christian (yet)… We are currently in K.L. and are able to drive down immediately to see you (if you are available)

Please do let us know.

Reply:  Nothing to worry and nothing to panic …take it easy …. relax … bring all your reports and scans … come and see me tomorrow night (Sunday) at 7 pm onwards ….or you can wait till the mad rush is over and come and see me…no need to rush.

Colon Cancer from Batam – Has Gone to Singapore & China for Treatment

Dear Mr.Chris

I’m P from Batam Island, Indonesia, i ever write you email on May 11 about my sickness. I have colon cancer stage IV,  already spread to liver and little bit in lung. Doctor in Singapore already doing surgery to remove my colon tumour on 2 Feb 11, then I’m going to Guangzhou on March 11 for treatment chemo nano for my liver and lung, 5 times, cryo for liver 3 times because the tumor in my liver is big, around 11 cm and they also plant 20 seed iodine125 seed/radioactive in my left tumor liver. They said that the iodine seed can do radiation from inside and maintain till 6 mths.
After this, they ask me to chemo again 2x and consume xeloda, but after i read your book ( through website ) i decide not to follow the doctor suggestion to chemo again and take xeloda.
I will consume CA care herbs. Is it ok for me to consume herbs while there’s radioactive in my liver ?
Mr Chris, can i go to Penang and consult with you and do i need to test by Acugraph?
My condition/healthy is still good now and it’s better for me to go to Penang because Batam is near Penang than Jakarta. When is the available time for you ?

Thanks so much for your help.

Colon Cancer – He Needs Help

Dear Dr. Chris,

I am British, 58, 59 on Wednesday! 1.6M tall weigh  65kg. I have filled out your form 3 times from your web site but it always fails saying e-mail address incorrect.

My GP in Kelana Jaya recommended you to me.

Last September I noticed a difficulty to pass motion and my GP referred me to UM Specialist Centre P.J. where I had a colon scope that confirmed a malignant tumour 4 inches from my anus. I then had a full body CT scan that showed no spreading. I then had a lower body MRI (report attached here).

I have lived and worked in Singapore for around 13 years. Last year the company I worked for failed and I was laid off being owed many months salary. I decided to permanently move to Malaysia and start my own business.

When I discovered I had cancer, I also found out to my horror that the company did not keep up my medical insurance. I had just put everything I had into starting my new company and I simply could not afford formal treatment. I decided to try nature’s way.

Firstly, No sugar, No red meat, eat regularly, not like the hectic routines I had in Singapore. More sleep. Reduce dairy products. No caffeine ……………

I have been an asthmatic for most of my life but under control. Ventolin and Symicourt. I have  hypertension which is now under control Cozar 50mg/day BP<120/80. Otherwise quite fit. I swim 20 lengths regularly

Urine normal. Sleep normal. Not much pain but discomfort passing motions. I take 3-4 senna BD to ensure soft and flowing, with no constipation. Some blood comes out but none I can’t see any in the stools that are usually brown.

I have 2 vices. For 20 years I have smoked Citek cigarettes with cloves. If Ismoked normal ones I could give up easily. But these are difficult.

I anger my doctor here by telling her cloves are a natural dilator of the bronchial tubes! I drink ½-1 bottle of red wine every evening. Very little beer and no spirits.

I have made an appointment to see you on Wednesday morning. l am sure I am in the right direction but I need your expertise to properly direct me. My knowledge of this type of treatment is very limited and for what I know, some of the things I take may be in conflict.

With kind regards.

Stomach Cancer – Difficult Patient But Wonderful Children. They “Touched” My Heart!

Dear Dr. Teo,

Last week, our father was diagnosed with stomach cancer. He is 76. There is a tumour the size of an egg on the floor of the stomach. The doctor estimates it to be at stage 3 based on the size. We asked him to estimate as my father has yet to go for a CT scan. We told my father that the doctor said he needed to go for one but he declined. He has never had much faith in western medicine.

The fact is, we have not told him of the cancer yet as we are fearful of the negative effect it might have on him. We have no idea how he might react to the news. He is a very determined and disciplined man and has always prided himself on keeping fit and healthy and he may not be able to accept his condition. For now, not telling him would at least keep him positive.

We read about your services and are interested in seeing you this weekend if that’s possible (without my dad). We are from Melaka. Would you still be open to seeing us? We would appreciate it very much if we could consult you.

Hoping to hear from you soon. God bless.

Reply:  No need to come and see me, driving all the way…I don’t think keeping it away from him is the answer — and you all are trying to do something for him is NO use, waste of your time. It must be the patient who wants to heal himself not you or me. And more so if he does not even want to do a scan — so everyone is blind. How to help when the helpers are blind? Also there is no cure for stomach cancer.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your prompt reply. We appreciate your candour. We understand that it is inevitable that our dad has to know about his condition.  We also realise that in order for any consultation to be beneficial, we must first convince our dad to do a CT scan. After which we hope to see you for a consultation. Although there is no cure for stomach cancer, we would be grateful for any help in easing the pain and discomfort that will surely come.

We don’t mind making the trip. Once again, our gratitude for taking time out to assist us.

Reply: There is NO purpose of coming to see me anyway. What can I do more than to say that you need to do a CT scan. And I have to talk to the patient to tell him what to do exactly. And he must want to change. Talking to you and your brothers and sister is a waste of time. It will not serve any purpose. I would rather spend my time with those whom I know I can help. In this case, it is a losing game from the very beginning.

Hi Chris,

We understand. We will only arrange to see you if we have the CT scan and if our dad is willing to come as well.  Thanks once again. God bless.

Hi Chris,

We are sorry to bother you again. You have been very patient with us thus far and we pray that by writing to you again does not agitate you in any way.  You said that we should do a CT scan but we were wondering whether a gastroscopy (including DVD) cum histopathology report would suffice?

We also understand that you will only see our dad but we hope that you may make an exception. Our dad is a complicated man and while that may have no bearing on you, we would hope for your understanding that we as his children are also victims of this dreaded disease. His wife, our mother, is suffering just as much. You may say that it is a waste of your time but we beg to differ. Although you may regard him as a lost cause, please consider the fact that while you may be unable to cure him, you will at the very least be helping his wife and children make a concerted attempt to make his remaining time with us as comfortable as possible. That Chris, is as great a gift as prolonging a cancer patient’s life.

We need guidance and your extensive experience will prove invaluable. We hope that our appeal to you will not be viewed upon with disdain rather with appreciation that we as his children need to do ALL they can for him regardless. Pains insist on being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience but shouts in our pain. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world. If we can ease one Life the aching or cool one pain, we shall not live in vain.

We promise you Chris, that our father will follow your treatment diligently. He is disciplined and determined. However, he is difficult in some ways. He doesn’t even leave Melaka to visit his children in KL. Some people are just peculiar in that way. We can’t explain it in any other way.

We hope that we have not come across as pushy or preachy. If we have offended you in any way, we apologize for it was not our intention. We pray that you will consider seeing us. We will not take much of your time. A short time with you can mean a huge difference for us and our mum.

Thank you once again for listening to us. God bless you and your wife for the good work that you are doing.

Reply: Come and see me with all the medical reports that you have.

 Hi Chris,

We would like to once again thank you and your wife for agreeing to see us. We arrived uncertained and somewhat lost but we left with relief, hope and a clear direction. We could not have accomplished this without your guidance. It is indeed uplifting to see the work that you do with your patients and our admiration is profound. God bless you both.

Breast Cancer: The Most Crazy Story I Have Ever Heard

Hi Chris,

I have read about you in Betty Kingsley’s book.  Saw your website and am very impressed with your success stories. Am seeking alternative treatment and hence decided to write to you.

Very briefly, I was diagnosed with invasaive ductal carcinoma (right breast). My tumour had fungated and grew very huge. I underwent chemotherapy last October (10 Taxol and 6 FAC sessions). After tumour was substantially reduced, I refused surgery and seek TCM treatment instead.  I have refrained from meat for about year now.

The physician prescribed her own powder medicine and lingzhi. I took them for almost 3 months now and the tumour started regrowing. She kept changing the medicine and told me to be patient. Now the tumour has grown very huge again and has started bleeding.

I wish to go and seek treatment from you.Could you please advise your charges and direct me how to get there? Do you have a contact representative in Singapore.

Thank you for your kind response.  Look forward to meeting you soon.

Reply:  This is the most crazy story I have ever read. What kind of TCM sinseh did you go to?  Just madness. There is NO need to come and see me if you still have the tumour. I cannot help you. Read what I wrote: http://cancercaremalaysia.com/2011/07/23/breast-lump-get-it-out/

Stomach cancer ? Children want to keep this away from him

Pancreatic Cancer – Surgery, chemo — no cure!

Dear Dr Teo,

I happened to chance upon your blog while doing some searches online on cancer and read about the many success stories of cancer patients under your care.  My mum was first diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2010 and had undergone the Whipple’s procedure to remove the cancerous cells at the head of her pancreas.

In July 2010, she started her chemotherapy, and was put under 6 cycles of Gemcitabine. After completing 6 cycles, at the end of December 2010, CA19-9 has decreased from 5000+ to 100+. About 2 weeks later, CA19-9 value rose to 200+. The doctor then suggested for my mum to go for a CT-scan. CT-scan result showed that there were several tiny nodules in her lungs. Apart from that, there were no other abnormalities.

Based on the CT-scan result, the doctor told us that he’s sorry and that he is unable to cure my mum anymore as the cancer cells have spread to her lungs. He then carry on to suggest for a 2nd round of chemotherapy, this time using the combination of 2 drugs with strong side effects to control the growth of the cancer cells. Since there is no guarantee on the success of the treatment and taking into account the stronger side effects, my mum rejected the treatment and has been consulting a chinese physician specializing in cancer. After taking the herbs prescribed by the chinese physician for 7 months, CA19-9 did not decrease but rose exponentially to a value of 60,000 in late June.

My mum has been feeling fine at the start of the year, but somewhere in April 2011, she started having backache and bloatedness in her stomach. At around mid June, she started having diarrhea, followed by serve pain at her back, causing some difficulties in her movement. She has also started coughing about a week ago.

We know that the herbs prescribed by the chinese physician is not working. But I know my mum has strong will to live on. It would be really great if you can help us and I look forward to hear from you soon.

Thank you.

Regards.
