Lung Cancer Spread to Brain from Hong Kong

Dear Dr. Teo,

I am M. My father, 59, was diagnosed of lung cancer in Nov 2011. He immediately had an operation in Nov 2011, and started the chemo and radiation therapy in Jan 2011. The treatment ended in Aug 2011 and his cancer index was kept at a low level after the treatments.

However, he was diagnosed of a tumor in his brain this week (July 2013), which is around 1″ in size, and it’s pressing onto his nerves. He’s still waiting to do a scan in the hospital again before the doctor can advise whether he has to undergo surgery or radiation therapy.

I am writing to seek your advice as one of my friends referred you to me saying herbs help. I am not very familiar with herbs treatment, and would like to seek your advice and have more information about it.

Please kindly advise how to help my father. Really looking forward for the feedback soon from you. Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks and Regards,

Rising PSA from Sydney

Dear Dr Chris,

Pray that you and family are in good health and always become blessings to the people.

My fatheris now living in Sydney, has been on the CA Care Herbs continuously since beginning of 2012 (as per my last email below): capsule A, prosta tea and mt guava tea, until now.

He is also on a vegan diet until now. The following shows typical of what he eats everyday:

1. Breakfast – black bean, green bean, red bean porridges with black chia seed and pumpkin seeds.

2. Morning tea – sometimes he eats 2 slices of bread with almond jam

3. Afternoon tea – fruits (apple, orange, kiwi, unripe banana, pear, strawberry, blueberry, avocado, dragon fruit, papaya, nectarine, peach, apricot)

3. Lunch & dinner – red or black rice with tofu/tempe/mushroom and vegetables
However, his PSA still keeps on rising every time. Since beginning 2013, he is checking his PSA at 3 months interval. The latest PSA June 2013 rose almost double from Mar 2013.

My father Daniel’s PSA readings are as follow:

05 Mar 2012 –     0.66

05 Apr 2012 –      0.71

21 May 2012 –     0.71

15 June 2012 –     0.72

16 August 2012 – 0.74

06 Nov 2012 –      1.1

05 Mar 2013 –      1.6

05 June 2013-      2.9

If you have forgotten, for your information, my father had a radical prostatectomy in 2007 because adenocarcinoma of prostate present with Gleason Score 4+4=8 with the portion of grade 4 carcinoma being 100% but no radiotherapy or chemo until now. Please find attached the Histopathology report immediately after the radical prostatectomy in 2007.

My father and we as a family do not want my dad to go through radiotherapy or chemo. We are grateful that his urologist has been quite respectful of my father’s decision to try taking herbal therapy instead of following his suggestion immediately for my dad to have radiotherapy since last year 2012.

On 21 June 2013, my dad had an MRI of Pelvis and Whole Body Diffusion. And on 09 July 2013, he also did Nuclear Whole Body Bone Scan. Please find attached both results.

On 27 June 2013, my father went to see his urologist for his regular 6 monthly check up. His urologist suggested my father to see the Radiation Oncologist to evaluate the benefit of starting on radiotherapy treatment or just wait and see if his PSA reaches 10 then to start hormonal therapy, as his PSA was now doubling in the last 3 months. Previously it was only creeping up slowly.

My dad has concerned for the fruits that he eats above which have encouraged the rise of his PSA. Please advise us what fruits that are not suitable for him.

My father and we as a family are confused now  what we should do, we advised you previously that my father do not want to have radiotherapy therefore he has been on CA Care Herbs from early 2012 until now, non stop and also he is a Vegan.

Kindly advise us in your opinion and from your experiences, what my father should do for this continuous rise in his PSA. He really does not want to go through radiotherapy or hormonal therapy.

We really appreciate your advice and assistance.

Yours Sincerely,

(Note: From our record, patients started herbs on 13 January 2012 and as of July 2013 it has been a total of 19 months BUT he only took herbs for a total of 9 months only. What happened to the remaining 10 months?).

Lung Cancer – Chemo Blood Clot in Leg. No cure. S$ 1 million gone

Dear Dr Teo,

I would like to bring my dad to seek treatment from you. We are indonesian that are currently seeking treatment in spore. He is suffering stage 4 lung cancer and has spread to other parts of his body including spleen, bone, skin stomach and has undergone 12 cycles of chemo therapy. I heard of you from a friend which is one of your patients and I had look through your website.

A quick summary of my dad condition, After 12 cycles of chemo, the cancer cells r not responding to the chemo but it didn’t grow larger. The doctor suggested another type of therapy called ‘targeted therapy’ which starve the cancer cells by blocking the blood vessels delivering food to them. However, there is a side effect of blocking other normal blood vessel in any other parts of the body too.

My dad has already a complication of blocked leg artery from the 2nd cycle of chemo, causing us to amputate his toes. Hence, he is at a very high risk of getting other blood vessels blocked if he were to go thru the targeted therapy. The wound on his amputated toes have not heals yet since the surgery on January 2013. He is also on high dosage of blood thinner to prevent blood clotting.

He also has diabetes and high blood pressure problem. In addition, he is very weak, on wheelchair due to his amputated toes and also have gastric, constipation, blood clotting problems.

We would like to meet up with you to discuss more in details of his condition.

When will be the soonest possible time that you will be available ?

Looking forward hearing from you Dr Teo,

Many thanks.

Reply: Yes, come any time with all the medical reports.

Note: Patient’s daughter came. Family has spent S$ 1 million of the treatment from the “best” oncologist of Singapore. Now gave up chemo.

Eye Melanoma Spread to Liver After Surgery

Dear Dr Teo,

I got to know about your work through a friend and I would like to meet with you next Saturday, 27th July. My name is JM. I am a 53 years old Chinese lady from Selangor and recently found lesions in my liver during a annual ultrasound scan.

Here’s a brief history of my ailments:

Year 2000 I had enucleation of my left eye due to choroidal melanoma. Since then I went for yearly abdominal scans and pap smear to check out any metastasis. I had my scan in April this year and found 2 hypodense lesions in my liver.

My eye doctor at HUKM sent me for Endoscopic Ultrasound Scan biopsy and this was done on 17th June. The test confirmed abnormal cells seen and currently I have sent the slides for second opinion testing. Results will be known in a few days. I have lost weight; about 2.5 kg from early this year. I feel weak, tired, sleepy; especially after lunch.

I am following a healthy regime; eating plenty of salads and cutting down on meat and white rice. I exercise in the morning at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time. I am a non smoker and non drinker. Oh, I have started taking Sabah Snake Grass juice from 27th June. I have not noticed any marked changes since but noted minor changes like warmth in my palms and less loose bowels. Previously I am unable to hold down hot drinks or blended vegetables and fruit juice without having to make a quick dash to the toilet. I certainly believe that a change of diet and attitude will bring about positive changes to my conditions and therefore I would love to meet you soon. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
