She died after Caelyx, Carboplatin and Avastin

Dear Dr Chris
Very sorry to inform you Mrs V passed away on Monday 22nd February. She was a spiritual person so when her calling came it was peaceful. Thank you for the help  and support . Regards.

Reply: Thank you for your information. I am sad to hear that. I remember you told me she went for chemo — did she die after taking the chemo? Thanks.

Dr Chris

The complications started after she started chemo and she passed away within 2 weeks after chemo.

I m disappointed Mrs V choose to do chemo for the 5th time but she was in a lot of pain, ascites was a lot (they removed 4 litres).

I don’t know what to think about the mainstream medication . Regards.

Hello Dr Chris
I am very sad as I think it was a premature death. I warmly thank you for your help.
I very much regret that I could not locate you earlier than I did. Anyway I think that was meant to be .Her calling had come and she was a brave woman who fought hard. Regards

Reply: Thank you very much for this clarification — but that is the way it is all the time. Thanks again for sharing!

Hello Dr Chris

Mrs V has been recommended to start chemo immediately. She has been uncomfortable for several days and the oncologist team thought that by waiting too long she may lose the window of opportunity for treatment .

They recommended this time to use caelyx and carboplatin which was used in 2008 but added Avastin also.

They told us they that want to do 3 cycles of 2 sittings each ,15 days apart of so 6 sittings. This will go on for 3 months.

We are of course very concerned about the effectiveness of the chemo though as we know it is a short gap arrangement; but we have to give it a try to see if some interim relief is archived.

Mrs V will therefore start tomorrow. It was a very difficult decision for us to accept as we do not know what lies ahead.

I will come back to you after 1 month, after 2 cycles are over by which time we should be able to assess.

Please spare a thought for V in these difficult days. Warm regards.

Metastatic Ovarian Cancer Recurred ? From KL

Dear Prof

Good Evening. Got your email from your site. My wife had ovarian cancer in2011 and a hysterectomy was done and the usual 6  chemos done. It was quite difficult chemo

Since then the CA 125 have been going up and the last was 700 . The normal being below 30. Her gynae onco has suggested chemo since the last 1.5 years but after her first experience she did not want to undergo it again.

She has become weak and for the past two months having persistent cough. Also her gut has become quite weak, sometimes she goes to the toilet upto 7 times, more so when she has her meals has to run immediately to the restroom. Our GP advised to do an X-ray and the radiologist said that it looked like metastasis. Went back to GH they did not allow us to see her gynae onco but the outpatient MO diagnosed it TB due to the high ESR and referred her to TB hosp. TB hosp declared that it is not TB and asked to do a CT scan. As you are aware that to get a scan in the govt hosp would take a month or so.

She does not eat any meat eggs fish. Fully vegetarian, Does enjoy yogurt once a while eats nuts fruits etc.

Appreciate your advise. We stay in Kuala Lumpur. Thank you and God bless you.

Reply: If you read what I wrote about cases like your wife … you can guess that the cancer may have already spread to the organs in the lower abdomen — like colon, etc. It can also spread to the lung — that’s why the cough. I cannot tell exactly, that’s only my guess. No one can cure any cancer — the situation becomes worse if it has spread so widely. No matter what you do, there is no cure. You have to decide what you what to do.

Ovarian Cancer from Indonesia

I’m A T Niece of MS.

We have heard about the clinic about cancer care. My Aunt had an Ovarian Cancer stage 3c, that has spread to some of her organs such as womb, aumentum, ooutside of her colon not yet spread into the colon (stuck with the ovarian).

She undergo 1st operation on the 20th of April to take out the Aementum, ovarian and some of her colon. Taking out some of her colon has caused her to have illiastomy which later on, she needs to undergo 2nd operation on the 20th of July and has been joined back.

After her 1st Operation she started her chemo for 3 cycle and did her 1st PET SCAN (MEI) . But even before she finishes her 3 cycle, her ca125 has been going up again. So they decided to do 2nd PET SCAN (JULY) and the results not so good.

They will need a second line of chemo stronger and might make her feel worst.

We heard about the clinic cacare. We are planning to go to penang on the 12th of Aug. Pls advise if there is a slot of appointments that can be arranged on the 12 or 13th. How long do we need to stay for consultation?

Thank you very much

Ovarian Cancer from India

Dear Dr Chris

Seek your urgent advise and help to heal my mom suffering from adenocarcinoma ovary.

She was diagonosed with CA ovary back in June 2010. Her first surgery was done in the same month followed by chemotherapy and then again a surgery in Nov 2010 followed by chemo treatments.

Her tumor marker came down by the end of 2011. She was fine for almost for the entire year of 2012.

2013, she was symtomatic in the sense that asitic in very very small amounts started forming which had to be tapped once in a while..

But recently around 3-4 months her tumor marker has shot up tremendously, heommorage (reddish)  ascitic needs to b tapped twice weekly. And there is a big mass which has developed in the right side in abdomen.

Her general condition is also below satisfactory. She is also vomiting almost around 10 times in a day , output being bile .( She is strictly on fluids as far as intake is considered)

Today , as a matter of shock there was blood in the  vomit .
She also gets breathless in a small activity like visiting the loo..

Request you to kindly take this as a top priority case and help us heal our mother very soon.
Pl advise where can we send u recent reports for ur perusal.

Awaiting ur response soonest.

Kind regards.

Dear Dr Chris,

We stay in India and hence can’t come immediately to seek your assistance. Moreover, my mother needs my personal attention and hence will not b able to make it to meet you up. Hence, request you to kindly go through the brief of her condition below and advise. Based on your advise i will manage to meet up with u personally or through a relative.

Five Surgeries and 2 rounds chemo – still cancer spread

Dear Dr. Teo,

I have been browsing your website and find it most interesting, impressive and admirable for the work you are doing in helping and educating the unwell.

I am planning to bring my mother from KL for a visit to Cancer Care. We strongly believe in what you and others alike have been preaching with regards to allopathy, especially so when it comes to cancer.

After several surgeries and two rounds of chemo in the last 4 years, the disease never really gave us a break.  Now, it’s back again just after surgery in Nov 2013. The doctors want us to consider chemo again to alleviate the effects (albeit temporarily, so-called “pro-long”).

If there was no pain involved, my mother would definitely not even consider chemo.  It all started with CA-Ovary stage3C in 2010.  After 5 surgeries since then and 2 rounds of chemo, the disease has metastasized, although, as far as we know, not to the liver, lungs, and kidney.  The latest PET scan from March shows tumor at the pelvic floor(between vagina and rectum), abdomen and the neck area.

Out of the detected tumors in her body, it is the one at the pelvic floor that is causing her the most trouble, feelings of uneasiness and pain.  The pain as described by her is like something trying to push out from inside.  She has to take pain-killers everyday to drown out the pain, else, she would be in tears trying to control it.

We understand that there is no cure for cancer.  A consultation/diagnosis by you would be invaluable, as we really do not want to damage the body further with chemo.  Her blood-test results look good(at least to us) and the reading that causes alarm is the consistently rising CA markers over a two month period.

She has been following a strict vegetarian diet and has stopped using salt, sugar and oil with her food.

I believe that meeting you will provide some relief and help ease the tension and anxiety that my mother is going through.  As shown on your website, visiting hours are on Fridays and Sundays only.  I will bring her in to meet you on either one of these days………this week!  It is also mentioned that consultation is on a “first come first served” basis, how early does the queue usually start?

Sorry for the long email, looking forward to meeting you and learning.

Thank you very much for the work that you do.

Reply: No worry…. bring the medical reports and scan …don’t worry I shall see all patients who come.

Grandma has ovarian cancer

Dear Dr Teo,

I’m J working as a pharmacist in MOH. I came across your article  cacre.org which has given my family much hope in the road of finding an alternative to conventional therapy. My grandma is 83 years old with history of hypertension, high cholesterol and osteoporosis. Yesterday she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and have spread to lungs. Her only symptoms were lower abdominal pain and post menopausal bleed. We thought that chemo and radio would be too burdensome for her. My family has medical doctors thus making alternative therapy seem tough. How should I go about it to convince them?

Thanks for your time. Really appreciate if you could reply . God Bless U

Reply: Thanks for your email. Where are you from? Reading your problem, I am afraid I am going to the thrown to the lions! My experience helping members of medical family is just next to impossible although I do have doctors who are my patients .. but this is rare. It is better that you let the medical doctors children do all the necessary. If her children — your uncle and untie who are medical doctors — need my help let them come and talk to me personally.

What are the risk if she were to go through your therapy? What is your experience with ovarian cancer. Does the cancer go into remission ?

Reply: Go to www.CancerCareMalaysia.com and read. I am not God and I really don’t want to play God either.

From Mumbai, India: Cancer (Peritoneal carcinmatosis ? Ovary with metastasis to liver?

Dear Sir,

This is regarding my mother Mrs. Suri who has recently been diagnosed with Cancer. I have already filled the registration form on the your website and am now enclosing all her medical investigations, reports, treatment being done  etc.

She has been advised 3 cycles of chemo therapy by Dr S H, Mumbai. Her first chemo was on 12.02.2013 and the next is due on 05.03.2013. Thanks and regards.

Reply: If you think I can help you, please come and see me personally with all the medical reports and scans. I am sorry we are not a direct selling company – we don’t sell herbs on line. I have already explained why we cannot offer help online as written in our website: www.cacare.org  and this is reproduced below:

For those who ask for help online

Thank you very much for writing to us about your problem. We fully understand the need to find alternative methods when medical science has failed. CA Care exists because of this need. In the past we did try to help cancer patients via the net. But our experience showed that we failed miserably. It did not work out.

To be useful to cancer patients:

I need to see patients personally or at least a family member who knows exactly the problem. I need to talk to them and assess their problems face to face. By seeing the patients, I might be able know what was wrong with them. Then I need to see all the medical reports and scans – blood test results, USG, MRI, CT or PET scan.  It is only after this study and dialogue that I know exactly what to do and prescribe the herbs. There are over 100 types of herbal teas that we specially formulated for cancer patients and they are specific for each problem. So to get the best from our experience means we just cannot do things on line.

After patient takes the herbs, I would need them to come back again after a week or two for me to assess the effectiveness of the herbs. If there is a need to I may have to add or subtract certain herbs.
By meeting and talking to patients and know what they eat, how they live, etc. I would be able to know what has gone wrong and suggest changes.

Cancer is a complex problem that involves both physical and mental aspects. Taking herbs alone is no magic. We have to do more than that – change of lifestyle, mental attitude, diet etc.
The above is nothing new. Patients need to be physically present to get help from their medical doctors. Every patient knows that. The same applies to CA Care. This is even more necessary knowing that almost all patients who come or write to us are medically failed cases – they are generally at the end stage where their doctors cannot meaningfully help them anymore. So at CA Care, I need to be more serious and more committed than just reading emails and trying to play god.

I hope you understand through this short explanation that it is extremely hard for me to help patients who live in foreign countries. I have tried this for some years and my experience showed me that at the end of it all, it is just a waste of effort and also a waste of money on your part. It is most frustrating indeed for me.

If you have read our articles in the websites: www.cacere.com or www.cacare.org orwww.CancerCareMalaysia.com patients do experience miraculous healing. You will note that these patients (or a family member) come here and we do the therapy together. That is the reason why they succeed. I need to see patients every now and then to know what is going on.

I don’t want to be negative.  I understand that you need help but I must be sincere and honest to myself too. In my heart I know there are times and situations when I just cannot help. The problem is beyond me to solve. And I also know that I cannot solve everybody’s problem in this world. I have been working very hard every day to help cancer patients and I know in my heart that I can do that much and no more.

But please don’t give up. If you open up your heart and mind, you will know that there are also alternative healers in your own country. Why don’t you try them? Ask around and you may find one. I am sorry for being unable to help.

Dear Doctor,

Thank you for your reply. I fully appreciate your stand and agree that a physical interaction is must for an effective treatment plan.  My only handicap was the time lag to get the visa and then fly to Penang and back which would cost us a lot of time and hence I was hoping for a discussion via email /skype. My friend Mr. Raj who is locally based there had offered to go to Penang to collect the medicines on my behalf and had also spoken to your wife on this.

Anyhow, if you prefer it’s imperative that Ii come personally (the patient unfortunately cannot travel since she is admitted in the hospital) then please advice if you can see me in the coming week like Tuesday or Wednesday and I shall get the visa processed and come to you immediately with all reports and details. Since my mother is already in the hospital and I am following up the matters here, most me or my younger brother will visit you. Both of us are well versed with her case.

Please advice. Thanking you.

Reply: You need to know that there is NO such thing as a cure. From the reports, I don’t think anybody can do anything at all.

Dear Doctor,

I understand that we cannot cure the disease. And Yes, it’s only symptomatic treatment that is being administered. Sir, I hope you will appreciate that like any son, I want to do the best I can for my mother. I am only looking at the possibility of prolonged survival and quality of life.

On the basis of the information you have on hand do you think this could be achieved? Please guide.

Reply: Difficult for me to say. I can only do my best but my best may not be achieved because it is out of my control. How can I help when the patient is far away? But if you think you want to try, you can come and bring the reports and scans. Chris

Ovarian Cancer Came Back Again and Again. Now in China

Dear Mr. Chris,

My name from Surabaya, Indonesia. But I currently at China. My mom had  ovarian cancer stage 4, now laid in the Guangzhou Modern Hospital.

In 2006 while in holiday my mom check in Singapore Gleneagles hospital by Dr TKF, she already had myoma that need to take it out, but womb / venter he didn’t take it. after that in mid 2011 my mom come back again to Singapore to have medical checkup but CT scan shows that something grow up again and need to take it out by operation.

After the operation doctor said it was already cancer, so she needed to be take chemotherapy 7 times. So after several times chemo in 2012 she was take another medical checkup, and the doctor said it was clear (but we don’t know, I just trusting them). So happy with the results she come back again to Indonesia.6 month after  July, doctor said there is a tumor again 8 cm in near the uterus.

So doctor want to take it out again the intestine must be cut out because it was near at the intestine, so she scare about it, Doctor said if you didn’t want take the operation you maybe can take another twice chemotherapy, to make smaller, but it useless.

This January 2013 a months ago the tumor has been 21 cm named ovarian cancer. The doctor in Singapore cannot take it because it’s too big and cover the blood vessels. And now she is in the Guangzhou Modern Hospital to take radiotherapy and cryosurgery. But I afraid too, because everybody said its dangerous method.

So can help us, sir? We will provide all data you may need. I will directly send to your email / if you want me to met you face to face I can go there a.s.a.p. I hear you was the famous in herbal method in Penang. Hope you can help us, no matter the hard way one.

Thank You.

Dear Mr Chris,

Thanks sir for the fast reply, I know from the start because i think its dangerous out here but parents persistents want to go here. I already read the what happen to mr. TAG from Indonesia, its all same and i afraid my mom could be like him. So i need people like sir whatever advise we would accept. No problem because i think “theres is no will there is no hope anyway”. So, can doctor give little advise? no problem if not cure 100% because it need a time. Please tell me to do need what document what you maybe want to know. But i will send a few image,CT that taken in singapore January 2013.

Thanks sir, sorry what should I call you? Because you was herbalist, not a doctor?

Reply: Since you mom is in the hospital, I really don’t know if it is useful at all for you to come and see me. Even when you come and take the herbs,.and She is in the hospital in China,  that will make a lot of problem. Yes, you can come on Sunday, but I am just wondering if this is useful or not? Why not wait until your mother is better and get out of the hospital. Chris.

Dear Professor Chris,

Well, sorry I can’t go there today, professor because the Chinese hold the document too. Well because from the first time I didn’t want mom to take this Chinese medical because a lot of people failed to do. So, I will wait after my mom get message from the doctor can back home, without radiation and cryosurgery. So she can take you herb as soon as possible. But usually serious patient like my mom, take your herb about 2 months for detoxification? or there is more another step? So I can prove to my mom, so she can trust no matter it works or not, but all can be tried than lay in hospital bedroom.  Well, Thanks for the help professor. Best Regards.
