Eye Cancer: 5-month-old-baby boy

Dear Prof. Teo,

My grandson is five months old. He was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. He has had an operation to remove his right eye. The doctor has recommended chemo but I would like to ask your opinion for alternative treatment.

The baby’s parents live in Sarawak. I wonder if I could make an appointment any time between 27 Feb and 1 March for them to come and see you?

Dear LS,
Thanks for writing. But I am indeed sorry to say that it is not possible for me to handle a 5-month-old. We use herbs and I cannot see how I can be effective.

Of course the doctor would want to chemo him after an operation – a tragic suggestion indeed. But unfortunately, I really don’t know what I can do.
