Brain Cancer from the US: Question about herbs for pineocytoma

Hello Dr. Teo,

I recently read your article, dated several years ago, about arresting pineocytomas using herbs.  I very much enjoyed reading your article due to the fact that I too have one.  I have explored almost every possibility for treatment except for surgery, which would be my last resort.  My cytoma is currently 13mmx11mmx11mm, so not as large as the patient in the article, but is beginning to cause daily issues.

What I was hoping you might be able to share with me is what herbs did you recommend for the patient in your article?  I am open to herbals and actually prefer herbals to any other form of treatment, unless absolutely necessary.

I do hope this email reaches you.  It has been some time since you wrote the article and I was so impressed how much you give back to helping people.  Your expertise is truly one of a kind.   Thank you so much for any further information you may be able to share.  Take care.

Warmly,

Brain Cancer

Dear Dr. Teo,

My brother is diagnosed with brain tumor glioma stage 3 and inoperable due to the location.

Currently, the doctor insist to do radiotherapy and chemo but we have not done yet. Let us know if you need any medical reports to send over you through email prior our visit to your center to seek your kind assistance in our hard time? Many thanks for your attention and we are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Reply: No need to send — just come and see me with all the reports and scan.

Thank you for your fast response Dr Teo. Due to my brother’s condition, he is not able to travel this time round.

However, I will be coming instead to represent him. Currently, we are making our travel arrangement either by this weekend or earlier next week. Do we need to setup any appointment with you and kindly advise the center operation hours. Many thanks for your attention and we are looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Reply: No need to bring patient…yes, come when I am around — Monday to Friday at 11 am.

Brain Cancer from UK

Dear Chris,

I read with interest your paper on the child treated with herbs and impact on the pineocytoma. Unless I’m mistaken the paper doesn’t mention which herbs that were used. Are you able to say?

The reason for asking is that at the age of 49 I was recently diagnosed with this tumour type following surgery and biopsy. I am currently looking at different approaches to try and shrink the tumour in order to avoid further surgery for a total resection.

If you could let me know further details of the herbs that would be great.

Thank you

I am in the UK. I have brother in law in China  who will be visiting the UK in July.

Reply: I am sorry I cannot help patients from faraway places.

Lung – Bone – Brain Cancer from Semarang

Dear Dr. Chris,

My Name is Na. My father, 54 years old had lung cancer in the stadium 4. Carsinoma Scuamous Cell already spread in all over my father’s lung. The worse thing is that the cancer already metastased into the brain and his kidney. what already informed by neural specialist was the cancer in his brain was very near to the rod’s brain, so small infection will be very serious.

My fathers condition is very weak, couldnt wake up. Last treatment from doctor was to make him in better condition and to give chemotherapy/radiation. Due to his condition its not possible and our family also think that it will take too much risk for him. One doctor advised to get Iressa/Tarceva but its still not quaranteed and very expensive and surely its have side effect.

We are already searching all over sources, we try to get alternative herbal medicine but none seems to make him better.

Now, we kindly ask your help to give your advise to make him at least getting better or life longer. Any advise from you is very much appreciated.

Thank you very much doctor.

Reply: Where are you from? Can you come and see me with all the medical reports ..no need to bring the paitents.

Dear dr. Chris,

I am come from Indonesia. I would  go there to see you, but i must accompany my father in his critical time. The neural specialist said that he must going trough the 10 days phase of critical time which will end at next friday.

Is it possible to send the data through email? Any other option that we can do rather than flying there?
If the only option i must go there, then should i make the appointment? I just cant be far away from my dad long time, leaving him suffering only accompany by my mother that is also weak & crying all time. I am sorry that i must tell you this doc.

Thank you very much for your response doctor.

Reply: Indonesia —where?

Dear dr. Chris,

Comatose Patient from Korea

Dear Chris,

I’ve read an article from below URL about a comatose patient with Pineoblastoma.

Below case sounds just like my beloved patient who is currently under comatose and has the same pineoblastoma.I would like to ask if the same herbal treatment could be used for our case?

We are currently in Korea and the family is not able to visit your center in person. But would there be a way to get these herbs? I do not know the process of how to go about this. It would be great if you could provide me with some suggestions. Thank you. Regards.

Reply: Thanks for writing and I am sorry for this delay …my wife and I were away in China and we just came back 2 days ago — to face a lot of patients and long list of emails to reply. I am sorry that it is extremely difficult for me to take of patients from far away country. Please rad what I wrote in www.cacare.org below:

For those who ask for help on line

Thank you very much for writing to us about your problem. We fully understand the need to find alternative methods when medical science has failed. CA Care exists because of this need. In the past we did try to help cancer patients via the net. But our experience showed that we failed miserably. It did not work out.

To be useful to cancer patients:

I need to see patients personally or at least a family member who knows exactly the problem. I need to talk to them and assess their problems face to face. By seeing the patients, I might be able know what was wrong with them. Then I need to see all the medical reports and scans – blood test results, USG, MRI, CT or PET scan.  It is only after this study and dialogue that I know exactly what to do and prescribe the herbs. There are over 100 types of herbal teas that we specially formulated for cancer patients and they are specific for each problem. So to get the best from our experience means we just cannot do things on line.

After patient takes the herbs, I would need them to come back again after a week or two for me to assess the effectiveness of the herbs. If there is a need to I may have to add or subtract certain herbs.

By meeting and talking to patients and know what they eat, how they live, etc. I would be able to know what has gone wrong and suggest changes.

Cancer is a complex problem that involves both physical and mental aspects. Taking herbs alone is no magic. We have to do more than that – change of lifestyle, mental attitude, diet etc.

The above is nothing new. Patients need to be physically present to get help from their medical doctors. Every patient knows that. The same applies to CA Care. This is even more necessary knowing that almost all patients who come or write to us are medically failed cases – they are generally at the end stage where their doctors cannot meaningfully help them anymore. So at CA Care, I need to be more serious and more committed than just reading emails and trying to play god.

I hope you understand through this short explanation that it is extremely hard for me to help patients who live in foreign countries. I have tried this for some years and my experience showed me that at the end of it all, it is just a waste of effort and also a waste of money on your part. It is most frustrating indeed for me.

If you have read our articles in the websites: http://www.cacere.com or http://www.cacare.org or http://www.CancerCareMalaysia.com patients do experience miraculous healing. You will note that these patients (or a family member) come here and we do the therapy together. That is the reason why they succeed. I need to see patients every now and then to know what is going on.

I don’t want to be negative.  I understand that you need help but I must be sincere and honest to myself too. In my heart I know there are times and situations when I just cannot help. The problem is beyond me to solve. And I also know that I cannot solve everybody’s problem in this world. I have been working very hard every day to help cancer patients and I know in my heart that I can do that much and no more.

But please don’t give up. If you open up your heart and mind, you will know that there are also alternative healers in your own country. Why don’t you try them? Ask around and you may find one. I am sorry for being unable to help.

Father died and now brother with Brain Cancer from Indonesia

Hello Dr. Chris Teo.

I had read your book about the breast cancer. I really amazed with all the women who fought with it and they succeed. My father got a mouth cancer , he passed away in 1996. And now my big brother is being struggle with brain tumor.

I am a kindegarten teacher, i dont have enough money to send my brother to hospital and give him the konvensional treatment. Beside of that, we had seen our father who couldn’t bear the pain of kemotherapi so surgery or kemo is not our option.

We just knew that he got the tumor since 3 months ago. At the MRI test the tumor is 4cm already. And now his eyes are blind. His blood test is good, except his uric acid is 9. He is very tough and never complain. He still single, so i am the one who can take care of him.

I give him the diet that u said in the book. And take Sarang semut from papua and the soursop leaf as his medicine. Dr. Chris, can you give me any suggestion ? In My limitation, i want to give him the best.

Brain Cancer from Sri Lanka: He Died

Dear Mr. Chris,

I would like to know what ingredients e found in the Brain Tea & Capsule A.

My husband also underwent a brain surgery for a tumor found between the brain stem & cerebellum. After the surgery he did not regain conscious as fluid filled in the brain and due to pressure the brain swelled. This is because the Dr. had not put the V.P. shunt for the draining of the fluid.

My husband was in an unconscious state and very gradually gained little conscious after about 8mths and lived for 3 yrs in a semi vegetative state with feeding done through a peg tube and breathing with a tracheostomy. He finally passed away 3 mths back following a brain seizure.

I am very interested in knowing the miraculous effect of the herbal drug and I really regret that such miraculous healing medicines  never came to light when I was looking for various recovery treatment for my husband.

Thanks & best regards,

Brain Cancer from Jakarta

Hi Dr Chris,

My name is L from Jakarta, currently my lovely wife (43 years, with 3 children) is in hospital in Jakarta. She had a tumor and surgery has been done on Monday. She is still in recovery phase. Before she had difficulties in maintaining balance when she walked and drunk fluid and she had headache. Initial prediction the tumor is ependymoma and the location is between brain stem and cerebellum. After surgery the doctor said probably the tumor is brain stem glioma and cannot be taken out completely which may more aggressive than ependymoma (I am still waiting the biopsy result). The doctor said follow up treatments like radiotherapy and chemotherapy may not be effective.

Unfortunately I just found your website after the surgery. After reading stories in the website, I realized that the most important thing is how to survive without or less pain before Allah call us (which we really don’t know when and how).

I would like to arrange to visit you after her condition is getting better. I and my family will do anything to make sure that she spends her remaining life happy, able to do basic activities without or less pain.

We really hope that there is a way to support her to get high quality of life as long as it is allowed by Allah.

Really appreciate your response Dr. Chris.

Brain Cancer from Singapore

Hi Dr Teo

My husband has just been diagnosed with pituitary macroadenoma and has been advised to go for surgery.  The neurosurgeon explained the procedure to my husband and we were frightened by the description of what surgery entails, together with the attendant risks.  Will the kind of cures that CA Care offers to cancer patients be of help in his case?  We are prepared to come to Penang and bring the CD of the MRI scan for a consultation if it is possible to effect a cure without surgery.

Reply:  There is NO cure for any cancer … it does not matter if it is surgery, chemo or radiation …or my herbs …absolutely no cure. Please read this article that I wrote:

http://cancercaremalaysia.com/2011/01/16/brain-cancer-%E2%80%93-marvelous-technology-dismal-outcome/

Thanks for your prompt reply.  We will try to arrange a visit to Penang soonest possible.  For now, my husband has no symptoms and leads a normal life – if the tumour does not grow any more, it would be a good enough outcome for us.  If it shrinks, that would be a bonus

Brain Cancer: After several operations and chemo – doctor gave up

Dear Dr. Teo,

I come across your name after I search for information about cancer.
This is about my brother, who suffers from brain cancer. He has been operated on several times and taken chemotherapy in Penang at Loh Guan Lye and on 31 December 2008 the doctors gave up and we are requested to bring him back to Jakarta.

We have not heard about you at that time. I studied about cancer a bit since then and we tried some herbal including the Keladi Tikus.

Since I am going to Penang on March 27, 2009, I would like to visit you and ask for advise for the case of my brother. If you can spare me sometime I would be very grateful.

Brain Cancer for Mom, Prostate Cancer for Dad

Hello Dr Chris,

My name is Con.  I live & work in Singapore with my family (wife & 2 sons) and we are believers of Christ.

My 63 years-old mum was diagnosed with a tumor in the left fronto-parietal portion of her brain 3 weeks ago.

Some 2+ months back, she started experiencing numbness & weakness in her left leg. After seeing several doctors & undergoing various medication & nerve-treatments, the condition continue to worsen & spread to her left arm & shoulder. Soon, she began to have a little loss of control of the muscles on her left side.

She requested for a scan at the hospital to rule out a stroke. The CT & MRI scans done at NUH (National University Hospital of Singapore) on 19 Oct’09 showed the tumor in her left side of her brain.

The NUJ neurosurgeon (Dr Yeo Tseng Tsai) recommended immediate surgery for a biopsy as well as debulking of the tumor. He also said there was a 5% chance of post-surgery risks including partial paralysis of the left side of the body, or parts of the left side of the body, and/or slight speech impairment.

My mother refused to go for the surgery.  We have gone to seek a 2nd & 3rd opinion from other neurosurgeons, with the same prognosis : generally the outlook is not good. With surgery, radiotherapy & chemotherapy (Temozolomide) : 9 to 15 months average remaining lifespan, 2+ years if very exceptional, 3+ years if especially blessed.

Would it be necessary for her to come personally to see you in Penang or can I come with her CT/MRI scan results & scan reports? She is having slight difficulty walking & tires easily these days, and is also naturally anxious & slightly depressed.

My brother & I are hoping that Rodent Tuber & the other herbs you can prescribe will help her by reducing & removing her tumor. We are praying & trusting in God for a miracle, and want to take steps of faith for her healing.

I brought her & my dad to the LightHouse Miracle Healing service here in Singapore last Saturday & plan to take them again this Saturday. My mum will go for another CT scan & follow-up appointment with the NUH hospital neurosurgeon assigned to her this coming 17th Nov.  We are hoping for a miracle by then, God willing.

My 77 years-old dad had also been diagnosed with prostate cancer some 2 months ago, with consistently high PSA levels. It was confirmed to be a very low-level cancer & has not spread to any other areas of his body, thanks be to God.  The recommendation was watchful waiting, no treatment needed. I believe he will also benefit from taking Rodent Tuber & the herbs you can prescribe.

Would it be feasible for me to come with my mum’s & dad’s reports to your Penang office to consult with you, & to purchase the appropriate herbs & get the consumption instructions from you?

Thanks in advance.

Brain Cancer from Indonesia

Hello Chris,

I am Jes. I am very sorry for sending email to you. have heard from my colleagues about Dr Teo and we consider to do discussion with you regarding of my cousin brother. I write on behalf of my cousin brother, Gavin (14 years old), who has got 2 tumors in the brain based on doctor diagnose and MRI.

My brother has headache and has double vision and sometimes got vomiting. Doctor put out fluid flow from the brain to the stomach (on 6 Dec, 2008) and then continued radiating the brain.

18 Dec till now (has been 7 times by 31 Dec, 2008): Radiation will continue until 25-30 times and then MRI to see for the result. If there is no any improvement on the brain tumor, doctor with proceed with “operation” to remove the tumor.

Current condition: still has double vision and stomachache and still has high volume urine and need additional NaCl solution thru infuse.

Questions: Is it possible that Gavin get treatment from you. He got treatment from doctor (radiation). There is no possibility to remove Gavin from the hospital right now. Could you please advise us the best way to be done in order to get better condition of my brother. We were realise that the human body is limited but we would like to do the best for Gavin.

We are looking forward and your suggestion.

Brain Cancer from the Philippines

Dear Chris,

I am from the Philippines and I am writing you because of the case of my brother-in-law, 45 years old male who was diagnosed of glioblastoma in the brain stem in October 2009. This morning, I was searching the internet for herbal treatment for half comatose patient, when the story of Daisy came out from the search. I visited your website (CA Care) and became interested in the herbs that your company is providing. My husband and myself are believers of alternative medicine and would like to explore the possibility of using your herbs for my brother-in-law.

Right now, he is still in the hospital. He wakes up 2 to 3 times a day but still not able to talk nor he’s able to respond actively. He is still being fed thru the peg and is not able to move his body, he is like paralyzed. Prior to his severe pneumonia, he’s practically immobile. He is taking only about 10% oxygen from the respirator and the doctors are hopeful that he will be able to breathe by himself by next week. When he is out of respirator, we intend to have an MRI of his brain (it was actually scheduled last March 10, 3 weeks after the IMRT) but was not able to do so because he was hospitalized and was placed under respirator.

Medical history:
May 2009: symptoms: eyesight problem- experiencing severe brightness /glare on the right eye; went to see 3 opthalmologist; no conclusive findings.
Sept 2009: went to see a neuron-opta who suggested to have an MRI which was done on Oct 14. The result showed that there was a tumor in the brainstem.
Medication: Citicoline for the brain; Dexamethazone steroids (total of 10 mg a day);Vitamin C – 500 mg; Vitamin B Complex – 500 (twice a day); Nexuim – 20 mg; Ganaton – 50 mg; Flucanazole; Fluimucil.
Any pain: Not certain as patient is partly in comatose and he’s not responding verbally. It is noted though through his facial expression that he is in pain or there’s discomfort when he is being suctioned or turn to his side.
Sleep: He is partly in comatose. He’s arousable and wakes up 2 to 3 times a day. The longest is 2 hrs. But no reaction except for the movement of the eyes, sometimes he tries to move his eyebrows and mouth.
Appetite: He is fed thru the peg every 4 hours – 300cc of Ensure.
Swelling: Yes in the larynx area because of the respirator tube although last night, tracheostomy was done on him so the tube was transferred in the hole in the throat area. Suspected swelling in the brain stem area due to the tumor.
Urination: He has retention cateter. No blood in the urine. 300 to 400 cc per urination every 4 hrs (est); But the nurse tried to take the cateter and he was able to urinate in the pampers.
Others: None so far as he cannot communicate. Prior to his recent hospitalization where he was diagnosed to have severe pneumonia and sepsis shock, he is almost 80% paralyzed. He can only move his left leg and left arm; and he has swallowing problem and slurred speech that is difficult to understand (like a stroke patient).

My reply:

Based on what you wrote, it appears that there is little that anybody can do – the nearest case that I ever handled was Prapti (a.k.a. Daisy, whom I adopted as my daughter after her recovery) in a Jakarta military hospital – who was in coma but woke up after a few days on herbs. NO, that was a miracle – not me who could do it. No, I cannot promise that could be repeated either.

I must honestly and sincerely say this – I really don’t know what my herbs can do – help or not? It could even be not good for him –I really don’t know.

For such a case, I usually prescribe Capsule A, Brain 1 and Brain 2 teas, which need to be boiled and then poured into the feeding tube over a period of time throughout the day.

If you see I highlighted Ensure for feeding – I would rather go for fruit and vegetable juices instead. But that is the way it is in the hospital.

If after 2 or 3 weeks there is no reaction — then I think I would stop the herbs.

Regards,
Chris
