Breast Lump: From Singapore, don’t panic!

Dear Dr Kris,

I came to know about your CA Care from my brother who recommend me to see you first before deciding to go for operation.

I was in a midst of whether to see you first or operate first. But, I know I need to get it remove first.

I last done my mammograph test on 2010 and had underwent a mamograph test when I felt a lump on my breast. My GP refer me to scan and found a 2cm x 3cm irregular shape lump in my right breast and there’s some patch on my right side dark which not obvious and don’t look good. I went to see my GP again and refered to Singapore General Hospital Doctor. He did a biopsy test and took out 5 samples from my right breast and found some cancer look cells. He sent the samples for lab test to confirm whether is it a cancer cells.

On this coming 06.10.15 3pm, I will be going to see him and see the result. Previously he had also advise me that if the result of the cells if benign, we still have to get it remove lumpectomy (Portion remove) and in case if it is bad maglinant, he had to completely remove it – muspectopy. I am really panicked and don’t know what to do, Can you advise me whether to see you after the operation or before the operation ?

In view of the above, I hope you can save me and help me. Please advise me and hope that you will reply at the soonest. Thank you.

Two Breast Tumours: Are you playing with your life?

Dear Dr Teo,

I  am from Spore. I came across your site this evening. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer stage 3 June 2012. Am supposed to undergo surgery n chemo the following week.

After much consideration I declined treatment and instead taking a natural remedy. I am much a positive person and willing to try any kind of option as long no cut or burn process.

I am a mother 47 of age with 6 children. One of the children under my care (an orphan 7 yrs of age) was diagnosed with acute heart disease and just recently undergone surgery.

For now, I had 2 tumors. My right breast n also my lymph nodes. My left heel and my knee started giving me a problem for quite some time. I watch my diet try to bring down some. Since my last visit to hospital I do not set any appointment. Doctor from hospital called me twice and advised me (to come to the hospital) before it gets worse.

Recently I have been reading a lot about cancer. I accept my fate and go thru with an open heart. I am quite clear with your concept and curious about the healing methods using herbs n tea and willing to give it a try.

I been in Penang last year when I made a trip  to Kulim Kedah for the alternative treatment using ‘Bekam’ or traditional cupping for 6 sessions, followed by supplement such as black seed, honey and B17 vitamins.

I believe whatever it is there is always a blessing in disguise. I will check with your centre tomorrow  for an appointment. What I need is a right protocol and a guideline.

Thank you for your time Doc.

Reply: If you don’t want this to eventually happen to you … stop being foolish!

Breast Lump – DCIS from KL

Hello Dr. Chris Teo,

My name is C. The reason why I’m writing this email to you is that my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer recently, so I would like to get some professional opinion from you. When I first found out that my wife had cancer, I decided to do some research on the internet about breast cancer. That’s how I found your website, and first of all, I would like to say thank you for your time and dedication with helping people with cancer. It’s very admirable.

So in my wife’s case, few weeks ago she felt that there’s something like a lump in her left breast. So we decided to go see a doctor and after doing the ultrasound the doctor suggested that my wife should have it surgically removed and sent it to lab for further testing. The report came out as DCIS. The doctor said that it’s still in a very early stage and it’s a non invasive cancer ,and she was given 3 options:

1. Go for surgery again and remove the surrounding tissue because during the first surgery the doctor didn’t know it was cancer yet so he only took out the affected tissue, so after the lab result came out, he’s concerned that the surrounding tissue might be affected as well. That’s why he suggested that she goes for surgery again and remove the surrounding tissue as well.

2. Radiotherapy which we declined on the spot after I went through some of the articles on your website. The doctor also mentioned that he’s not even sure how effective it is.

3.Do nothing and take the 50/50 chance.

So we took option 1 which at this time we think is the most effective and safest option. She will have the surgery this Friday. So do you think we made the right decision?

That was my first question and my second question is, we heard that porcupine date is very effective against cancer. Do you know anything about this Chinese medicine and how effective it is? This medicine is very expensive and I don’t know whether the medicine is suitable for my wife and I’m also concerned about what kind of side effects it might brings. Hope to hear your insight on this medicine.

My third and last question, I’m very interested in your herbal treatment program so I was wondering what would be the best time for us to come and pay you a visit? And hopefully get to know more about your herbal treatment. We have also taken your advise on diet, to avoid all meat and dairy product and also sugar. So most of the food we eat are now organics.

Hope to hear from you soon and thank you again for your time. I’ve also attached the pathology report in case you would like to take a look.
