Sarcoma case from Mauritius

Dear Sir,

Your expert advice will be highly appreciated. My nephew (aged 18) was diagnosed with Sarcoma at the spine level in March 2014 and the tumour prevents him from walking. He is bed ridden since March 2014. He underwent surgeries & chemotherapy in 2014 in India.

Two weeks back we got to know he relapsed & the tumour has spread to the lung. It has caused pneumonia etc.

He is on another set of chemo now which started last week. We want to give him the maximum chances but don’t know much about alternative treatments.

He is also on a diet since he relapsed in terms of no sugar no red meat, soya milk … lots of vegetables and carrots & beetroot juice but other than that don’t know much on the alternative treatment that will help.

We live in Mauritius (an islands in the Indian Ocean) where alternative treatment experts are rare to find.

We would appreciate your help on how to go about.  I may come over with his medical reports. Thanks.

Reply: Let me be very sincere and honest … sarcoma is very very hard to cure. In fact there is NO such thing as cure at all. Even if you take my herbs, I am very doubtful if these will help. Definitely not cure.  What is more, you are so far away. It is extremely difficult for me to help.

Breast Cancer: When surgery, chemo and tamoxifen did not cure

Hi Dr. Chris,

my name is Y and I am from ….. The reason I am writing this letter to you is because my wife K, 45 years old is suffering from cancer since 2004. The cancer first detected was from the breast and she already have her breast surgically removed and after that went for chemotherapy. She also took tamoxifen.

But the cancer still spread and all in to date she already have 4 bouts of chemotherapy. All her chemo did not work. For the last chemotherapy, she did not complete her cycle because the chemo is not working anymore as her pain worsens.

Right now she is warded in GH for the past 3 weeks just for pain management only. The last CT scan one month ago the cancer have spread to her back bones. She is now immobilised and even had difficulty sitting up.

Dr, I am at a lost right now on what I can do to help my wife. I would certainly like to make an appointment to bring my wife to consult you on anything that can be done personally but her  condition doesn’t permit us to do so. Dr, I know that you are very busy with your schedules and patient I sincerely wish you could help us on this or advice us on how to ease her pain.

Thank you Dr for your time to read this mail. Right now I am just praying miracle will happen. God bless you. Yours sincerely.

Pancreas Cancer — Terminal Liver Cancer: 2 months to live

Hi Dr. Chris Teo,

Good day to you! I’ve got the link of your website from a good friend of mine in the beginning of the year. At that time, my uncle was diagnosed with pancreas cancer stage 2. My uncle and his family members decided to take the advice from the attending doctor to do chemotherapy. He had since gone through a series of chemotherapy and further extended to radiotherapy.

Last month, my uncle was admitted to hospital due to severe sore throat, which believed to be the side effect of radiotherapy and continued to be warded until today. His health condition did not get better but deteriorated since hospitalization. 3 weeks after hospitalization, the attending doctor suddenly broke the news to my aunt and cousins that my uncle was diagnosed with liver cancer stage 4 and announced that he is left with 2 months of life. It was devastating as we all thought my uncle was actually recuperating. He is now very weak and bedridden.

I had passed your contact to my cousin early of the year and until today she didn’t make that move to contact you. It seems to me that they are losing faith and giving up hopes. I’m writing this letter to seek for your professional advice as in what can I do to help my uncle or his family members?

Looking forward to hear from you soon. Your kind advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and best regards.

Reply: Nothing anybody can do in this case. Let the doctor takes care of him. No one can cure any cancer.

Breast Cancer: Medical treatment did not cure her yet! Let her find her way

Dear Dr. Teo,
My aunt 62 from Bukit Mertajam. She had breast cancer 3 years ago and had undergone mastectomy on her right breast and followed on with Chemotherapy and radiotherapy. On January this year, the cancer has metastasized to her lung, lymph node and bone.

She has just undergone the first chemo 2 weeks back but the side effect is just too strong for her to bear. She is having a very serious mouth ulcer thus having difficulty to eat. I know that there’s nothing can be done to cure her cancer at this stage but would be appreciated if you can prescribe some herbs that will help her ulcer and reduce her pain. It would be much appreciated if l can make an appointment with you tomorrow at 11am or at any time most convenient to you. >>> >> Hope to hear from you soon. hank you with regards,
Reply: OK…come with all the reports

Dear Dr. Teo,
Really thank you for your reply. Unfortunately,  it’s too late for my cousin(my aunt’s daughter) to go to Penang at this time. I’ve called up your centre … about the change of date. They will see you on Monday instead.

Dear Doc Teo,
I am writing here to tell you that my aunt’s daughter have changed their mind not coming to see you. I am very disappointed with their decision and the reason is all because my aunt’s attitude and knowledge about natural treatment (already brain washed by conventional treatment).  As a nutritionist myself,  I deeply feel sorry for her. Thank you for your time all the while reading my email. Thank you very much.

Breast Cancer from UK

Hello,

I came across your website as I was searching for an alternative treatment for cancer.  I had breast cancer and now it has spread to lungs. I did take 16 rounds of chemo (abraxane 16+avastin 6) and it cleared some cancer but two big tumors on my left lung are still there. Doctors suggested oral chemo of Xeloda, which I took for three days and it made me exceptionally sick and I stopped it. Now doctor is suggesting to try different type of chemo and he is hopeful that it will work.  I refused to take the chemo as it makes me very sick. I have mentioned to him that I want to look into alternative therapy and he is fine with that.

I have watched many of your testimonial videos on youtube, where people look hopeful. What does your treatment includes besides herbal medicine, is there any other therapy performed upon the patients.

We live in UK and don’t mind travelling to Malaysia but if you know any similar treatment center like yours in UK or anywhere in Europe please do let me know it will be Much appreciated.

I thank you in advance for your time and help. God bless! Kind Regards.

Reply:  I am sorry I cannot help patients from faraway places …. attached is a booklet about German clinics. May be you want to consider this.

Mixed Hodgkin Lymphoma: Chemo and chemo — did not work!

Dear Dr Chris,

A very good morning to you. I am Madam H, mother of YJ, is seeking your help to help my daughter who was diagnosed with Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin’s Lymphoma since May 2014. She started to have the symptoms since April 2014 and complained of having difficulties in breathing somewhere in May 2014. So we took her to Sunway Medical Centre and was diagnosed as the mentioned cancer. She started her chemotherapy of first ABVD there ( in June ) and for the later 5 sessions of  ABVD ( completed in August ) we continued at Ampang Hospital (Government Hospital ) as the insurance coverage quota had finished,

Result of the ABVD was not promising as the tumour just shrank a little from 12cm x 5 cm to 8cm x 8 cm. The doctors there said it was not effective and suggested to do ICE ( second line intervention ) since August till end of August 2014. The tumour did not reduce. They did not do any CT scan and we had requested to do a PET scan on our own because they said the tumour did not respond to it based on their x-ray findings.

The Pet scan showed the tumour grow back to the actual size or slightly bigger by the end of August. Then in September and October, we did follow up inconsistenly due to insufficient of beds and was given an opportunity to do a clinical trial on brentuximab but unfortunately she did not meet the criteria and had to be dropped out from the project at the mid /end of November.

Following that, she fainted on 26th November and we rushed her to Ampang Hospital for further treatment. Again, the doctor there asked us to do the third line of chemo ( GDP ) for two cycles to starvage the cancer and do a auto stem transplant later or they just give us the oral chemo drugs to help to subside the growth slowly,  She did the first chemo on GDP ( the third line ) with a very weak body ( anemia situation ) and the outcome was not good.

She was hospitalized for nearly one month and again when they ask her to continue the second treatment, we decided to stop as the time she was too weak to take any chemotherapy and chose on oral chemo over it.

After the first chemo of GDP, her lung and heart started to have fluid accumulated and was drained out at least 4 times from her lung with each time 1.5 litre, 1.5 litre, 1,0 litre and 1.3 litre.

Meanwhile, we met Tn Haji Hanafi who was accompanying his wife to do a biospy and he told us about your centre and how you have helped him to contol his cancer. At the same time, we also heard of Modern Cancer Hospital in Guongzhou which offer traditional and modern treatment on cancer so we decided we want to try the traditional method here which involves cryotherapy ( freezing at -160 celcius  and heating at a high temperature to kill  the cancer tumour);

We flew to Guongzhou on 7th January 2015 in the hope of new method being used. Here they did a through checkup and confirm of Mixed Hogkin Lymphoma and NOT Nodular Sclerosis Hogkin Lymphoma and they suggested to use starvage chemotherapy as in Malaysia. According to them, they can’t do cryotherapy because it involves the heart organ and the mass is in the mediastinum part which  has all the crucial nerves  there.

At this moment, the hospital has helped my daughter to restore her body to be stronger by injecting albumin and receiving blood transfusion to overcome her anemia problem. Her problem of fluid accumulation is still happening and she was drained her fluid from her lung at least 6 or 7 times and from her heart at least 4 times. According to them, the fluid accumulation will not go away if the tumour is still there. Feeling very disappointed, we are very down at this time but we cannot give up trying to seek help.

Then my daughter mentioned uncle Hanafi and text him from China ( currently we are still in China ) and he immediately suggested to us to come back in Malaysia for quick action to meet you as he mentioned that you have successfully treated a patient who had tumour that increased in size and you have managed to reduce and make it disappeared. With the hope of light, we are humbly requesting to meet you in person on this coming Sunday at 7pm by making our flight back to Malaysia on this Sunday departing at 1am and arriving in KL at 5am and do a transit to Penang at 9 am. Then, we will rest in Penang till our appointed time to see Dr Chris at 7 pm.

Along with us, we will bring all the medical report for your evaluation as the reports are with the hospital safekeeping now. Should you like to request for a copy of the latest report, I shall request them to send to me in soft copy and email to you for your kind attention and evaluation. Looking forward to hearing good news from Dr on this coming appointment.

Thanking you in advance and hope to meet you in Penang real soon.

Lung Cancer from Singapore: Surgery, Chemo, Radiation, Iressa – did not help

Dear Chris,

My mom now age 68 has stage 4 lung cancer and i would like to bring her to see u.  As we are from Singaapore, can u please advise if we were to see u on a Friday, how long must we stay in Penang to get the medicine please?   If Sun, any different?

I will provide the latest CT scan n medical reports when we visit,  but here is a short summary.

  • Diagnose with Stage 3A Lung cancer in April 2012.  Went through chemo and radiation immediately in preparation for surgery.
  • Start TCM 19 May 2012.
  • Surgery to remove lower portion of right lung on  10 Aug 2012.
  • After surgery, discover there were still cancer cells in some of  the bio samples taken out.  Scheduled to go for chemo but could not go due to low white blood cells.   Rely totally on TCM to try to kill cancer cells and rebuilt immunity meanwhile.
  • In Sep 2013, progression of cancer. Start Irressa 21 Sep 2013.
  • Irressa not effective 2 Dec 2014 (1 yr 2 mths).
  • Now ask to go chemo to prolong life.

The last time my mom went through chemo, she was in so much pain n could not walk.  It was not expected by the oncologist.   We are going to say no to more chemos n radiations.

Thanks very much for taking time to read my email.

Reply:  I don’t not think you need to bring your mom to see us. There is really nothing much I can do to help. You have done all what the doctors wanted her to do — surgery, chemo, radiation, Iressa etc… and no help. And she is also  on TCM. Why don’t she continue taking the TCM herbs .. I cannot cure her cancer… even you come and see me what do you expect me to do? Regards.

NPC from Sabah: Onco gave up?

Good day to you Prof,

For your information my husband was diagnosed NPC stage 4 on January 2013. He took 3 cycle of chemotherapy and the tumor had shrunk. He refused radiotherapy because many people told him that the side effects of RT is bizarre. He finished the 3 cycle chemo on April 2013.

By end of July 2013, there was a lump on his neck and we decided to ct scan again. The result was the tumor was metastasis and need immediate treatment. We went to private hospital since we were rejected by oncologist at general Hospital regarding our reluctant of RT last April.

Thus my husband received treatment starting with chemotherapy and 35 time RT. He finished his treatment on 21st November 2013.

On March 2014, We do CT Scan again and it shows that the tumor was gone. His nose and neck is clear. We were very happy that time.

But it was just the beginning of my husband illness. On that month, he claimed pain on his hips and leg…the pain come and go…we went for xray and ultrasound of his abdomen and everything is normal.

Then again, on end of May 2014 he was admitted to hospital because of anemia…from that day he always anemia even though he had blood transfusion.

Last week doctor arranged him for Bone Marrow Aspiration and the result is there are NPC Metastatic on his bone.

Now the oncologist give us 2 options : Chemo or Go Home and wait.

For your information my husband weight before all the treatment was 82kg and now he only 42kg.

I believe we were chosen to faced this and i believed in God miracle. I pray for God show us the way.

I googled about bone mets and i found your website.

We discussed and we hope we can fly to Penang and meet you for consultations and medications. But time is very limited to us

My husband chose to do the chemotherapy but he afraid if he is not strong enough to go through it. The chemo will be start next Tuesday.

I hope Doctor can give us second opinion about this matter.

Thank you in advance doctor.

Reply: if the past chemo and radiation treatment did not cure him …what make you think this time around it is going to cure you?

Now he admitted to hospital due to his low red blood and platelet..he is receiving blood and platelet transfusion..he went to his 1st palliative chemo last Tuesday..but this morning the onco suggest us go home and the no need chemo anymore.

I really want to bring him to ca care..we know there is no cure for his illness..I’m waiting for his blood stable and then decide when we can meet you.

But can you estimate the cost so that i can tell the family and discuss how to bear the cost later.

By the way..thanks for replying us.

Asking for Miracle Cure — Doctors Have Given Up

Dear Dr Teo,

My name is vV. I come from indonesia. My sister is diagnosed with breast ca 3 years ago with initial stage of 2a. Until last year november , she been doing holistic treatment i.e , gerson method

The cancer was not healing until last year and she opted for medical treatment in USA. She’s doing chemo and on april 2014 she is confirm to be heal. The ca marker is close to normal. Everything went well until last july. She got a cough very bad one. And she went to doctor and the doctor said that the ca recur and now is attacking his lungs. The diagnosed for the stage is IV.

She started to do chemo again however, her cough is getting worse until one day , 3 weeks ago she’s having difficulty to breath and admitted to hospital.

The doctor suggested my sister to depend on O2 for good with the level of 3 liter / minute.

2 weeks ago suddenly she’s suffocate and again admitted to hospital. The O2 level went up into 8 liter / minute. The oncologist and lungs specialist already gave up all of her treatment as well as the chemo. They said now the main aim is for my sister to have a quality of life. That was 7 days ago.

Today , the nurse who came to check upon my sister suddenly said that she is dying and stated that she only got less than 2 weeks to live.

With this email, i want to ask if you have a miracle cure for cancer if all of the doctor already give up.

I heard that you are specialized in keladi tikus for cancer. And if so , please give me recommendation on the recommend dosage.  If possible please recommend us what kind of treatment to prolong her life.

If you need her medical report i will email you the detail. I really appreciate your help doctor.

Thank you so much

Reply:  I am sorry I have no miracle cure.

Dear Dr Chris

Seek your urgent advise and help to heal my mom suffering from adenocarcinoma ovary.

She was diagonosed with CA ovary back in June 2010. Her first surgery was done in the same month followed by chemotherapy and then again a surgery in Nov 2010 followed by chemo treatments.

Her tumor marker came down by the end of 2011. She was fine for almost for the entire year of 2012.

2013, she was symtomatic in the sense that asitic in very very small amounts started forming which had to be tapped once in a while..

But recently around 3-4 months her tumor marker has shot up tremendously, heommorage (reddish)  ascitic needs to b tapped twice weekly. And there is a big mass which has developed in the right side in abdomen.

Her general condition is also below satisfactory. She is also vomiting almost around 10 times in a day , output being bile .( She is strictly on fluids as far as intake is considered)

Today , as a matter of shock there was blood in the  vomit .
