Soft Tissue Sarcoma: Medicine Cannot Cure

Dear Dr Chris,

My name is R and I am from Singapore.

My father was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma stage 2/3 in 2012 after a lump was found on his back.   An operation was performed to cut away the lump. After the operation, my father underwent radiation therapy with no chemo. In early 2014, the cancer has recurred and metastasize to several locations in his body. With each chemo treatment for the stage 4 cancer, my father has grown weaker and his blood count deteriorate. Recently, my father has jaundice and complained of stomach aches and after scans, doctor has suspected that there are lumps which are pressing against the liver bile duct. Last month, my father underwent a procedure to place a stent in his bile duct to ease the flow of bile. Despite a brief period of improvement, a latest blood test revealed that the bile level is increasing. We have rejected doctor’s recommendation to chemo as my father is very weak at the moment.

At this juncture, we have decided to opt for herbal treatment. I have read about your good self and your very informative website. You have offered hope and a listening year to countless others and I do sincerely appreciate your tireless efforts to help those in need. I would like to take you away from your busy schedule to obtain insights and advice from your good self on how to ease my father’s suffering. I am very keen to visit you to seek your advice and opinion. Unfortunately, my father is quite weak at the moment to make the travel. However, my sister and I would be very appreciative if we could come to visit you with all the scans and medical report. Thank you good Sir. Yours in need.

Reply: You are welcome to come and see me with all the reports and scans — BUT let me tell you honestly — it is too late and too advanced. Even if you come and see me, what can I do — there is NO magic bullet. Doctors have failed and you expect herbs to be the hero? Not logical at all. I don’t want to disappoint you but I have to be honest. So don’t be misled.

Prostate Cancer: Surgery, Hormonal Therapy and Chemo Did Not Cure Him

Dear Prof Teo,

Our 76 years old father is having recurring metastatic prostate cancer. He was diagnosed with stage 3+ PC 7 years ago. The cancer has gone into a few of his lymph nodes. He went through a prostatectomy in the same year he was diagnosed. After the surgery he was put on lucrin. His psa stayed 0.01 – 0.03 for two years.

His psa started to rise in the third year so he was put on casodex for about 4 years. When his psa went up to 14+ he was advised by his urologist to have an orchidectomy. His psa did not go down at all after the surgery, instead it went up to 22 then 35. We also found out that his PC has gone into his bone.

We consulted a few oncologists and decided to go for chemotherapy. Our father completed 6 cycle of chemo with doxitacel in December. His psa was 15 in December. Since he had pain in his lower back bone so 10 sessions of radiation were given to him in February. Sadly his psa shot up to 264 in February during radiation (we did not let our father know about the steep climb of his psa because he has been in a very positive spirit. We just don’t want him to lose faith in battling his cancer which we believe he will if he knows about his sharp rising psa.)

His oncologist suggested him to go for another round of chemo either with jevtana or zytiga, however we do not think that he is fit enough to take another hit from chemo drug so chemo is definitely not going to be considered at this point.

My father’s overall health condition and energy level deteriorate rapidly since January. He lost 6 kg in one month. He has no appetite, he has numbness in his feet, weakness in his legs, wet cough that seems worsen over the week, and he constantly has hyponatremia. We also learned that he has drug induced diabetes after chemo. We hope that our father will receive an effective alternative treatment from you after reading the information from your website. Please kindly advise that whether our father’s PC is still treatable and how high is the chance that he can be healed.

We are in Kota Bharu and we are ready to travel to Penang to see you anytime soon. Please let us know what should we do next from here.

Sincerely hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Reply:  Nobody can do anything …chemo / hormonal treatment had made the cancer more stubborn… this happened all the time. Now it goes to the bone …worse. To tell you that I can cure cancer is to cheat you but if you think I can help …maybe … I cannot promise.

Lung Cancer from Singapore: Surgery, Chemo, Radiation, Iressa – did not help

Dear Chris,

My mom now age 68 has stage 4 lung cancer and i would like to bring her to see u.  As we are from Singaapore, can u please advise if we were to see u on a Friday, how long must we stay in Penang to get the medicine please?   If Sun, any different?

I will provide the latest CT scan n medical reports when we visit,  but here is a short summary.

  • Diagnose with Stage 3A Lung cancer in April 2012.  Went through chemo and radiation immediately in preparation for surgery.
  • Start TCM 19 May 2012.
  • Surgery to remove lower portion of right lung on  10 Aug 2012.
  • After surgery, discover there were still cancer cells in some of  the bio samples taken out.  Scheduled to go for chemo but could not go due to low white blood cells.   Rely totally on TCM to try to kill cancer cells and rebuilt immunity meanwhile.
  • In Sep 2013, progression of cancer. Start Irressa 21 Sep 2013.
  • Irressa not effective 2 Dec 2014 (1 yr 2 mths).
  • Now ask to go chemo to prolong life.

The last time my mom went through chemo, she was in so much pain n could not walk.  It was not expected by the oncologist.   We are going to say no to more chemos n radiations.

Thanks very much for taking time to read my email.

Reply:  I don’t not think you need to bring your mom to see us. There is really nothing much I can do to help. You have done all what the doctors wanted her to do — surgery, chemo, radiation, Iressa etc… and no help. And she is also  on TCM. Why don’t she continue taking the TCM herbs .. I cannot cure her cancer… even you come and see me what do you expect me to do? Regards.

Ovarian Cancer from India

Dear Dr Chris

Seek your urgent advise and help to heal my mom suffering from adenocarcinoma ovary.

She was diagonosed with CA ovary back in June 2010. Her first surgery was done in the same month followed by chemotherapy and then again a surgery in Nov 2010 followed by chemo treatments.

Her tumor marker came down by the end of 2011. She was fine for almost for the entire year of 2012.

2013, she was symtomatic in the sense that asitic in very very small amounts started forming which had to be tapped once in a while..

But recently around 3-4 months her tumor marker has shot up tremendously, heommorage (reddish)  ascitic needs to b tapped twice weekly. And there is a big mass which has developed in the right side in abdomen.

Her general condition is also below satisfactory. She is also vomiting almost around 10 times in a day , output being bile .( She is strictly on fluids as far as intake is considered)

Today , as a matter of shock there was blood in the  vomit .
She also gets breathless in a small activity like visiting the loo..

Request you to kindly take this as a top priority case and help us heal our mother very soon.
Pl advise where can we send u recent reports for ur perusal.

Awaiting ur response soonest.

Kind regards.

Dear Dr Chris,

We stay in India and hence can’t come immediately to seek your assistance. Moreover, my mother needs my personal attention and hence will not b able to make it to meet you up. Hence, request you to kindly go through the brief of her condition below and advise. Based on your advise i will manage to meet up with u personally or through a relative.

Five Surgeries and 2 rounds chemo – still cancer spread

Dear Dr. Teo,

I have been browsing your website and find it most interesting, impressive and admirable for the work you are doing in helping and educating the unwell.

I am planning to bring my mother from KL for a visit to Cancer Care. We strongly believe in what you and others alike have been preaching with regards to allopathy, especially so when it comes to cancer.

After several surgeries and two rounds of chemo in the last 4 years, the disease never really gave us a break.  Now, it’s back again just after surgery in Nov 2013. The doctors want us to consider chemo again to alleviate the effects (albeit temporarily, so-called “pro-long”).

If there was no pain involved, my mother would definitely not even consider chemo.  It all started with CA-Ovary stage3C in 2010.  After 5 surgeries since then and 2 rounds of chemo, the disease has metastasized, although, as far as we know, not to the liver, lungs, and kidney.  The latest PET scan from March shows tumor at the pelvic floor(between vagina and rectum), abdomen and the neck area.

Out of the detected tumors in her body, it is the one at the pelvic floor that is causing her the most trouble, feelings of uneasiness and pain.  The pain as described by her is like something trying to push out from inside.  She has to take pain-killers everyday to drown out the pain, else, she would be in tears trying to control it.

We understand that there is no cure for cancer.  A consultation/diagnosis by you would be invaluable, as we really do not want to damage the body further with chemo.  Her blood-test results look good(at least to us) and the reading that causes alarm is the consistently rising CA markers over a two month period.

She has been following a strict vegetarian diet and has stopped using salt, sugar and oil with her food.

I believe that meeting you will provide some relief and help ease the tension and anxiety that my mother is going through.  As shown on your website, visiting hours are on Fridays and Sundays only.  I will bring her in to meet you on either one of these days………this week!  It is also mentioned that consultation is on a “first come first served” basis, how early does the queue usually start?

Sorry for the long email, looking forward to meeting you and learning.

Thank you very much for the work that you do.

Reply: No worry…. bring the medical reports and scan …don’t worry I shall see all patients who come.

Breast Cancer from UK

Hello, My name is S and I live in UK.  I came across your website when looking for alternative cure for cancer.  In December I was
diagnosed with breast cancer in my right breast. In January I got the mastectomy done. Doctors recommend 6 round of chemo and radiation after the surgery. I refused and rather take the herbal medicine to eliminate the problem. Lucky for me that according to the CT scan it has not spread any where else and surgery had the clear margin with 3/11 nodes with dead cancer cells.

I would like to come see the doctor for the herbal medicine. Please let me know the procedure and when is the best time to come to Malaysia.  I thank you in advance for your help.

 Hello Sarah,

Since you are from UK …it is extremely difficult for you to come and see me in Malaysia ….so far away … and also I need to monitor you often to know what is going on …it is just not easy for you to come here often. Please read this booklet: German Cancer Clinics. Why don’t you seek help in Germany instead. It is nearer to you.

Eye Melanoma Spread to Liver After Surgery

Dear Dr Teo,

I got to know about your work through a friend and I would like to meet with you next Saturday, 27th July. My name is JM. I am a 53 years old Chinese lady from Selangor and recently found lesions in my liver during a annual ultrasound scan.

Here’s a brief history of my ailments:

Year 2000 I had enucleation of my left eye due to choroidal melanoma. Since then I went for yearly abdominal scans and pap smear to check out any metastasis. I had my scan in April this year and found 2 hypodense lesions in my liver.

My eye doctor at HUKM sent me for Endoscopic Ultrasound Scan biopsy and this was done on 17th June. The test confirmed abnormal cells seen and currently I have sent the slides for second opinion testing. Results will be known in a few days. I have lost weight; about 2.5 kg from early this year. I feel weak, tired, sleepy; especially after lunch.

I am following a healthy regime; eating plenty of salads and cutting down on meat and white rice. I exercise in the morning at least 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time. I am a non smoker and non drinker. Oh, I have started taking Sabah Snake Grass juice from 27th June. I have not noticed any marked changes since but noted minor changes like warmth in my palms and less loose bowels. Previously I am unable to hold down hot drinks or blended vegetables and fruit juice without having to make a quick dash to the toilet. I certainly believe that a change of diet and attitude will bring about positive changes to my conditions and therefore I would love to meet you soon. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Uterine Cancer: Surgery, Chemo Messed Her Up?

hi chris,
My name is k from Jakarta. My mom diagnosed for corpus uteri cancer stage  4 mets to lungs and 1 lymp nodes in pelvic early february. everything else still clear but tumor was 19 x17
She was scheduled for 6 chemo, 3 before surgery and 3 after.  after 3rd chemo tumor shrink to 19 x13 and lung mets size reduced.

After surgery her condition went downhill, as on the 4th chemo her right hand and leg weakened but doctor said it was cipn..2weeks later it got worst, they did mri and discovered several mets to brain. And condition weakened because swelling in brain. After surgery she suffered abdominal pain and difficulties passing stool. And often burping.

I’m thinking of doing gamma knife from brain mets, and the doctor said it is possible. However as it was her schedule to do chemo, she went to chemo first (5th chemo) .3days later she suffered severe sepsis. Right now she’s still on recovery and progressing well. But today she still having abdominal pain, hard passing gas and burping bitter taste.

I dont know, but i think the doctors messed her up in surgery. Just wondering, what do you think about gamma knife? As the brain mets depressed her. Also she still has residual tumor in pelvic that causing her hard to sit. I am so devastated with pessimistic doctors around her.

I’m thinking of bringing her to mount miriam or nci cancer hospital, but looking from her condition it seems hard as she just had sepsis, very weak right hand and leg also the abdominal pain usually making her head sweating while the body gets cold.

She is 53 years old. Do you have any suggestion for me? If you think you have something worth trying, i will fly to meet you on friday. Thanks

Reply: I don’t think anybody can do anything for her …too messed up. No, modern medicine makes things worse.

Liver Cancer: Cut, Chemo and Cut Again. Then Now Want to Cut Some More – No cure!

Hi doctor,

I am MS, from Manado, Indonesia, and I heard about you from my friend. My father got liver cancer, accidentally found in July 2011, before he had an open heart surgery in Penang. Early of November, doctor cut out the tumour, 60% of the liver was cut out, and we did regular check up every three month. Until 6 months, it was clear and nine months after that, two cancer cells was found, and doctor suggest to do the ablation method.

In July 2012, doctor also did the RFA, because some cancer cells were found. And in December 2012, doctor found that there were cancer cells again, and he suggested a second operation. So, in January we came to do the operation, and doctor also checked if the cancer was spreading out, but not found any.

Last March we came to do the USG, and it was clear. And recently, we did the CT Scan in 26 April 2031, and found that it was already spread out to his left iliac bone, and left adrenal.

Doctor suggested to cut the adrenal, and after that do the oral chemo, but we told we will think about it first. And we had plan to go a Health Care centre, the place that practises healthy life style by diet and exercise.

On Tuesday, one of my friends told me about you, and we interested. We are still in Penang now.

How can I reach you? What time can we meet you today? Thank you for your attention.

Regards,
L

Colon Cancer Spread to Liver Even After Surgery and Chemo

Dear Dr Chris,

We have read your success stories & we hope you can help my mother.

I also start bringing my mother to church & I hope god can give her strength. She has read your articles in your website & she is very positive to go for your treatment.

Colon-Liver Cancer: Go home and die

Dr., last 2 days I went back to hospital to see the surgeon as I want to know how he would explain my condition in detail. During our conversation, I took down notes down for your reference, as follows:

Wong:   Dr. what actually had happen to me? Can you explain in more detail? I thought this is only a minor surgery in closing my colostomy. I did the CT scan and colonscopy in Oct, 2012 before coming in to closet on Jan, 2013. You said everything is fine. The only thing is in the future I pass bowel a little bit difficult since my rectum is narrow.

Dr. X :  Your cancer tumors spread too fast after surgery although we have checked it before surgery.

W: Why these few days I pass bowel there’s a lot of blood (50% stools and 50% blood) coming out and the anus burn and so painful?

Dr. X :   Oh. your anus pain every time you pass bowel is because it is too narrow to pass through. There’s blood in your bowel mainly because your cancer tumors had spread and its messy inside your colon. This I can’t help you anything as you had stage 4 CA Rectum although it has been removed in 2012. It had recurred.

W:     Can you do any surgery to open the colostomy as previously I had before? I don’t want to suffer like this.

Dr. X :  The risk is too high. Maybe only 30% chance of survival if I do the surgery again because your intestine had burst and moreover the tumors are everywhere in your colon. You will die on the table due to serve bleeding.

W:  That means I leave it like this, everyday suffering from tummy bloatness and waiting to die one of these days? Do you think how long can I survive?

Dr. X  : I’m sorry we really can’t do anything. Go home and spend your precious time with your family while you are able to now. Maybe you have less than 3 months to live or even shorter.

W:   I am really disappointed with what you have said as I had full confidence in you but after all these, you say you can’t do anything. Since last year I had took my CEA till Jan this year. My index never exceeded 6 ng/mL.  Lowest was 2.5 ng/mL. One last question:  why now there’re stools coming out from the wound that you close the colostomy.

Dr. X:   Stools do come out sometimes because you can’t move your bowel at the down part. Once you can move it, there won’t be any stools coming out again. It will close by itself if everything is fine one of these days. So don’t worry about that. You wear the colostomy bag in the mean time.

Dr. Chris, I won’t give up just like this. I will continue to take your herbs as every time you said CA Care Center is the last stop for people like us.

The patient’s full story will be presented later  – including his video conversation with us.
